In the area around holiday home El Polear you'll find a lot of privacy. Nevertheless it is only a 10 minute drive to the village.
Breathtaking views up towards the mountains and over the Atlantic Ocean and most nights you can enjoy an impressive sunset.
 
Accommodation
Casa el Polear is a light and sunny holiday house. There is a spacious living room with open kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside you'll find several terraces where you can sit to enjoy the views. The swimming pool is on one of terraces just above the house.
The spacious light living room with open kitchen has 2 comfortable sofas and a coffee table. There is TV, a radio-cd player and a electric heater for the cooler winternights.

The kitchen is well equipped. There is a large fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven, coffee machine, toaster, electric juicer and a selection of kitchen utensils.
There is a breakfast bar.
The door opens onto the terrace, a sheltered place with sea view for breakfast in the sun.

 
Casa El Polear has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a 135x190cm double bed and in the second bedroom you'll find 2 single beds, 90x190cm.
Both bedrooms have bedside tables and wardrobes.

The bathroom includes a shower, wash basin, WC and washing machine.

 
Outside
The swimming pool, 6x6M, with sun terrace, stands on a terrace just above the house and can reach by 8 steps. Around the house there are several terraces where you can sunbathe, have a barbecue, enjoy the sunset or the spectacular sky at night with the Galaxy and thousands of stars.
 
Area
Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
